Indoor Dot Scores and Info

This page will contain all the scoring and format information regarding indoor DOT shoots and leagues. For indoor dot schedules and events see the Indoor Dot Schedule page. Scores will be updated daily after each shoot. Scoring is explained in the format section at the bottom of this page.

Format

  • Adult Men and Women Classes
  • No "set-up" classes (hunting and target set-ups shoot together)
  • 5 or 1 Spot Targets
  • 60X 300 Rounds
  • 12 Rounds / 60 Arrows
  • 4 Minute Rounds / 5 Arrows
  • Standard Dot Scoring

Individual Shoots and Leagues

  • Each shoot will be treated as an individual shoot with winners and pay-outs
  • Scores from each individual shoot will be recorded and posted into League scoring 
  • Each individual shoot will constitute one Round in the League scoring  
  • League "season" will consist of 12 rounds (12 individual shoots) 
  • Weekly round score and total (cumulative) X count will be kept throughout all rounds
  • Periodically shoots will be held that WILL NOT count toward League scoring

Finals and Awards

  • Championship Shoot-Out will consist of top 12 shooters
  • Each shooter will drop their 2 lowest round scores and average the remaining 10
  • The 12 shooters with the highest average scores will shoot for the Championship
  • The shooter scoring the highest total in the Shoot-Out wins the Championship  
  • Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 in the Shoot-Out and the overall MVP

Classes

  • Shooter Class - Any shooter who shoots a 290+pt average regardless of X count
  • Novice Class - Any shooter who shoots a 280-pt average
  • Shooters shooting between 280pts and 290pts may chose class unless average X count is 35+ 
  • Shooters "dogging" scores will be bumped to Shooter Class **NO EXCEPTIONS**

Shoot Fees

  • $8 total per individual shoot
  • $6 for the shoot and $2 for the "prize money" pot
  • Shooters may elect not to pay into "prize money", but are then not eligible to win $$
